From one trailer
to Canberra’s pink crew.
It started with a Facebook post, a beat-up trailer, and a 16-year-old on his L-plates. Eight years later — a dozen team members, pink trucks across the ACT, and a waiting list.
The Facebook post that started it all.
It was a quiet Sunday. Dad was scrolling Facebook. A neighbour had posted asking if anyone could clear some green waste from their backyard — and our family happened to own a trailer.
“You boys have a trailer,” Dad said. “Why don’t you go do it?”
Rohan was 16 and still on his L-plates. Kiran was 14. Their dad rode shotgun, the trailer rattled behind them, and the first job was done before lunch. They got paid in cash, bought a feed at the bakery on the way home, and figured they’d just stumbled onto something.
“We didn’t have a business plan. We had a trailer, a mower, and weekends. Everything else came later.”
Growing up and growing out.
That one job turned into a handful. Word travelled the way it does in Canberra — neighbour to neighbour, sister to sister, mum to mum at school pick-up. The brothers added a second trailer. Then a ute. Then the iconic pink paint job that turned heads in every street.
The pink wasn’t a marketing stunt. It was a bet — that being unmistakably visible would beat hiding behind a generic logo. It worked. To this day, if you live in Canberra, you can spot a Two Teens trailer from three streets away.
Meet Linus.
In 2025, Linus stepped up to lead the business. He’d been climbing trees, running quotes, and showing up early since he was 17 — and when the time came for the founding brothers to move on to their next chapter, Linus was the obvious one to carry it forward.
If you book a quote, there’s a good chance Linus will be the one to walk your property with you. He’s professional without being stiff, knows his way around a chainsaw and a mower, and he’ll tell you straight if a job’s worth doing or if a tree’s better left alone for another season.
Under Linus, the business has sharpened its focus: premium garden maintenance for people who want their property looked after properly, every fortnight, without having to think about it.
“I don’t want to be the cheapest. I want to be the crew you trust enough to give a gate code to and never worry again.”— Linus
What we’re really about.
We’re not the cheapest gardeners in Canberra. We’re the most consistent. The plan is simple: a small, well-paid team of local young people, well-trained, well-equipped, turning up when we say we’ll turn up, doing the job the way it should be done.
We employ Canberra teens because we used to be them. Most of our crew are between 17 and 24. Several have been with us since school. We pay above award, we cover their gear, and we promote from within. It’s not a story we tell on Instagram — it’s how the business actually runs.
Who we’re looking for.
Our subscription plans suit busy households in Canberra’s leafier suburbs — the inner north, the inner south, and the newer estates around Gungahlin. People who own their home, care how it looks, and would rather pay a fixed monthly fee than chase quotes every season.
If that’s you, we’d love to walk your property and put a plan together. No pressure, no upsell. If a one-off job is the right answer, we’ll tell you. If a subscription will save you money and headaches, we’ll tell you that too.
