Gutters cleared
before they cost you.

Eucalyptus leaf and pine needles fill Canberra gutters fast. Blocked gutters cause water damage, sagging facia, and — in summer — pose a real bushfire risk on properties backed onto reserves.

How often Canberra properties need it.

Depends on the trees around your house. Rule of thumb:

  • Eucalyptus or pine on property: Every 6 months. Spring (before fire season) and autumn (before winter storms).
  • Deciduous trees only: Once a year, after autumn leaf fall.
  • No mature trees nearby: Every 2 years should be fine.

What we
don't do.

Roof repairs, full pressure washing, or solar panel cleaning — those are different trades. We'll clean your gutters thoroughly, flag anything we see, and recommend trusted Canberra trades for follow-up work.

What we
do.

01

Full clean-out

Leaf litter, debris and nest material removed from all gutter runs.

02

Downpipes flushed

Downpipes flushed and tested — blockages cleared.

03

Roof valleys cleared

Roof valleys cleared of build-up.

04

Visual inspection

Facia, brackets and roof flashings checked — we flag any issues.

What it costs.

One-off gutter cleans start at $320 for a typical single-storey home. Two-storey homes and complex roofs are quoted on site after a free inspection.

For ongoing peace of mind, Total Property Care ($880/month) includes two scheduled gutter cleans per year — spring and autumn.

Bushfire season tip: ACT properties backed onto reserves (Mount Ainslie, Black Mountain, Cooleman Ridge, Mount Taylor) should have gutters cleared every spring before fire season. Embers in dry leaf litter is the most common cause of house ignition in bushfire — and it starts in the gutters.
